Privacy Policy

PreQualiFly (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a productivity tool for licensed mortgage loan originators (MLOs). It helps you create and store pre-qualification documents, keep buyer and referral records, view market reference data, and — if you choose — receive market-movement alerts. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our websites, web app, and iOS app.

PreQualiFly is a professional tool for MLO accounts. It is not a consumer lending app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Email address and authentication data when you sign in (via Firebase Authentication).
• Profile Information: Name, company name, NMLS number, phone number, address, and signature when you create or update your Loan Officer profile.
• Buyer Profile Data: Buyer and co-buyer names, loan amounts, interest rates, payment information, occupancy type, documentation selections, and other pre-qualification details you enter.
• Referral / Referrer Data: Referral partner (referrer) contact information and follow-up notes that you, the MLO, enter — for example names, phone numbers, email addresses, relationship notes, cadence preferences, and follow-up history. We do not collect this from referral partners or borrowers directly; you enter it as part of your professional records.
• Device Contacts (optional): If you grant iOS Contacts permission, we may read selected fields (name, phone number, and email) for a contact you choose to link to a buyer or referrer profile. We do not scrape or upload your full address book for marketing.
• Generated Documents: PDFs and signatures created within the app.
• Notification Data: If you opt in to push market-movement alerts, we may store a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token and related device identifiers so we can deliver those alerts. Follow-up reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device from the dates and cadence you set; they are not sent as remote pushes from our servers.
• Usage & Technical Data: App usage events, screen views, device information, and crash reports collected through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
• Marketing site: Campaign parameters from the link that brought you to prequalifly.app, and the visit events described in section 5.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the PreQualiFly service
• Allow you to create, save, and manage buyer profiles, referral/referrer records, follow-up reminders, and loan officer profiles
• Populate buyer or referrer profile fields from a contact you select, and open your device Phone, Messages, or Mail (tel, sms, or mailto) when you tap call, text, or email
• Generate and store pre-qualification PDFs
• Display market reference data (including MBS and Treasury reference levels and Freddie Mac PMMS weekly national averages)
• Deliver opt-in MBS market-movement push alerts via Firebase Cloud Messaging when you have enabled them
• Authenticate users and secure your account
• Analyze app performance and fix technical issues
• Measure ads on the marketing site and keep the campaign that brought you there

We do not contact borrowers or referral partners on your behalf using the follow-up tracker. Cloud sync stores the records you enter with your account; the reminder notifications themselves remain local to your device.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase services: Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics, and, when you opt in to market-movement alerts, Cloud Messaging. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data, including Contacts data. We do not share buyer profiles, loan details, documents, or Contacts data with third parties for their marketing. We do not contact people from your address book on your behalf. Account and app data is shared with service providers necessary to operate the app — currently Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, analytics, crash reporting, and, if you opt in, cloud messaging).

The marketing site shares visit and event data with Meta and Google as described in section 5. That sharing is limited to prequalifly.app. It does not include records stored in your PreQualiFly account.

Market displays may include figures originated by third parties (for example, Freddie Mac Primary Mortgage Market Survey averages and MBS/Treasury reference data). Those sources provide market figures; they are not a sale of your personal information.

5. Cookies and advertising on the marketing site

The public site at prequalifly.app uses the cookies and tools below. The iOS app and the signed-in product at app.prequalifly.app follow the Firebase practices described above.

Campaign cookie. If you arrive from a link that includes campaign parameters (for example utm_source or utm_campaign), we store those values in a first-party cookie named pqf_utm for up to 90 days. We use it so “Get started” keeps the campaign that brought you here. The cookie holds those campaign fields only. It does not hold your name, email, or account data.

Meta pixel. We use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure advertising. When you browse prequalifly.app, Meta may set its own cookies, such as _fbp, and receive the page you viewed. We also send Meta an event when you choose Get started, when the contact form is sent successfully, and when you open the webinar thank-you page after registering. Those events say that the action happened. They do not include your contact-form message, buyer profiles, loan details, or documents. Meta’s use of that information is described in the Meta Privacy Policy.

reCAPTCHA. The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from automated submissions. Google may set cookies and receive technical data for that check, as described in the Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service.

Webinar registration. The registration form is hosted by Zoom. Details you type there are collected by Zoom. After Zoom returns you to our thank-you page, we send Meta the event described above.

Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking them can stop campaign attribution and ad measurement on the marketing site. You can also review how Meta uses activity from this site in your Meta account settings. Questions about this sharing can go to info@prequalifly.app.

6. Analytics, Crash Reporting, and Messaging

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and Firebase Crashlytics to monitor and improve app stability. These services may collect device information and usage data.

If you enable market-movement alerts, Firebase Cloud Messaging is used to deliver those remote notifications. You can turn the alerts off in the app. Follow-up reminders do not use Cloud Messaging; they are local to your device.

7. Device Contacts (optional)

If you grant iOS Contacts access, we may read selected contact fields (name, phone, and email) that you choose to link to a buyer or referrer profile. That information is used to populate profile fields and to launch the device dialer, Messages, or Mail (tel, sms, or mailto). We do not sell Contacts data. We do not contact those people on your behalf. You can deny or revoke iOS Contacts permission in Settings.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us. You can also delete your account and associated data directly within the app or by reaching out to support. You can deny or revoke Contacts access at any time in iOS Settings.

9. Market Data

The app may display third-party market information, including Freddie Mac Primary Mortgage Market Survey (PMMS) weekly national average 30-year and 15-year rates and MBS / U.S. Treasury reference data. This information is shown for your professional reference. It is not a lock price, an offer of credit, or a recommendation.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the “Last Updated” date above.
